Internship Real Estate Finance (f/m/x)

An internship at Aareal Bank AG gives you the opportunity to gain practical experience for your future career. You will get to know the processes in a globally active and internationally leading property specialist. From day one, you will be part of the team and will be given challenging tasks in an exciting, dynamic and international working environment.
Based in Paris, you will contribute to Aareal's origination, underwriting and execution capabilities in Commercial Real Estate Finance in France, Belgium, Spain and Luxembourg. As part of the team, you will support colleagues and deal teams with their commercial activities.

Our general conditions:

Location: Paris Branch
Time Period: for at least 6 months (from January to June 2025)

What you can look forward to:

Analysis of incoming transactions, financial modelling, underwriting risk, rating, cash flow and pricing
Drafting of internal authorization requests
Support credit approval processes
Support for budgeting, planning and meeting ad-hoc requests, incl. presentations and communication
Post-closing processes
In Addition, you will take over small task packages on your own responsibility, where the team will support you with advice and assistance at any time

What we look for:

Enrolled in a Bachelor's / Master's degree, preferably in the field of business administration, economics, finance or law or in a gap year between Bachelor's and Master's degree
Team player with self-initiative
Analytical, rigorous, detail-oriented
Proficient in MS Office products, especially Excel highly motivated
Eager to learn
Fluent French and English is necessary
